About this record
A Priori classic by now. Deep chords with that dub techno reverb and delay work combined with remarkable grooves across the drum and percussion section, topped off with fat basslines that sit perfectly in the mix.
Priori's approach on SCN EP cuts straight to the point - no filler, just the essential elements of dub techno and minimal house working in tandem. The production is clean but characterful, letting space and decay do as much work as the sounds themselves. DustWORLD have picked a strong one here.
If you're after hypnotic, groove-led dub techno that respects the original spirit of the sound, this sits right. The kind of record that rewards repeated listening on a decent system.
