L.A. 2000 and DJ Sotofett deliver a pair of former dubplates only cuts for Sotofett's cult Norwegian WANIA imprint. Side A is a dub techno stepper that moves with the weight and presence you'd expect from this pairing - stripped back, hypnotic, built for the floor. Salik flips the script on the B-side with a breakbeat take that reframes the material entirely, bringing a skittish energy that contrasts perfectly with the A-side's locked-in groove.
DJ Sotofett has spent years nurturing WANIA as a space for experimental dub and techno, and this release sits comfortably within that ethos. Both tracks existed only as dubplates until now, making this their first official vinyl appearance. Pressed at 45 RPM for maximum fidelity and weight.
