About this record
Jack Russell's debut on his own Brooklyn imprint WhiteWolf arrives as a limited vinyl-only two-tracker. Cut at 45 RPM, this is dub techno stripped back to essentials—sparse, patient, designed for the deep end of a mix.
Russell's approach here favors space and resonance. These tracks breathe. The production has that particular clarity you get from vinyl-first thinking, with low-end weight that rewards decent speakers and patient listening. This is the kind of release that signals serious intent from both artist and label.
WhiteWolf's opening statement. Limited from the start, and you can hear why Russell chose to keep it that way.
