About this record

Perfect for rainy days. Just stay in and get lost in those soundscapes. Rod Modell's 2017 dub techno LP on Soma, back on gold and white marbled wax.

DeepChord has spent two decades mapping the spaces between techno and ambient, building immersive soundscapes that reward patient listening. Auratones distils that practice into sprawling, textured compositions where dub's spatial depth merges with genuine melodic restraint. Nothing overreaches; everything breathes.

Soma Quality Recordings continues its commitment to reissuing essential work on quality wax. This repress honours the original's conceptual weight while the marbled pressing adds a tactile dimension befitting music this immersive.
