About this record
Repress alert: the final and most sought-after 12" in the legendary Maurizio M-series. Berlin dub techno canon from 1996, now back on clear marbled vinyl.
M6 is the rare closing chapter of Maurizio's essential series - four untitled tracks of hypnotic, spacious dub techno that defined the sound of mid-90s Berlin. Maurizio (aka Jacek Siladke) stripped techno back to its essentials here: minimal percussion, deep bass, and vast amounts of space. Each track breathes, evolving slowly across the side-length format. This is the record collectors have been searching for since the original went out of print.
The repress does justice to the original's aesthetic: clear marbled vinyl that catches light like the dub delay trails running through the grooves. Essential for anyone serious about Berlin dub techno.
