About this record
Repress alert. This is the absolute dub techno classic from Moritz von Oswald's Maurizio project, originally cut in 1995 and re-mastered here in 2006 at D&M Berlin. Highly sought-after.
Oswald's Maurizio imprint became synonymous with the stripped-back, space-conscious sound that defined German dub techno in the mid-90s. M4 distils that aesthetic to its essence: minimal drums, cavernous reverb, and the kind of restraint that lets every decay and echo breathe. This repress captures the depth of the original lacquer with renewed clarity.
Essential for anyone serious about dub techno's foundational documents.
