About this record
Fun, uplifting prog house that hits different. This repress from Chicago-based Global Swing keeps moving fast, so be quick.
Garrett David's Dreamland is exactly what the title promises - spacious, exploratory deep house with a prog sensibility that unfolds rather than rushes. The label's run by David himself, and GS003 sits right in that sweet spot between hypnotic grooves and genuine melodic progression. It's the kind of record that rewards repeated listens; the architecture reveals itself slowly, building depth through restraint.
Global Swing has earned serious respect for reissuing records with real care. This one deserves the same attention.
