About this record
Vienna-based Nizar Sarakbi makes his label debut on Jupiter's Depth with Lab Boogie, a four-track journey that pulls from 90s prog house and trance sensibilities. These are the kind of tracks built for depth and patience - atmospheric builds, sinewy basslines, and the sort of groove that rewards repeated listening. Sarakbi's got a clear ear for space and texture, neither rushing nor overcomplicating his ideas.
The flip features Bella Sarris on remix duties, reworking one of the originals with her own sensibility. Jupiter's Depth continues its run of smart, underground-focused releases with JD007 - this one's worth your attention if you're after contemporary prog house with genuine substance.
