Global Swing is the label Garrett David started in 2022, launching with his own Dirty Work EP.

David is a Chicago house lifer by way of Ohio: a smartbar resident and former buyer at Gramaphone Records, with a long residency at smartbar's Queen! parties alongside Derrick Carter

Gary's Dreamland refined the sound he set out with on Dirty Work, swung, funk-led club tracks that sit between deep house, garage house and tech house without ever getting too polite.

Sweely's Bring It On brought a European angle to the same idea. Everything comes through Subwax, and repressed titles tend to move quickly.

Straightforward, well-made DJ records for people who like their house with a bit of dirt on it.
