About this record
Two big ass Kompakt Techno stompers with funny titles and explicit German language. This is peak Kompakt Extra material - the kind of record that arrives with a wink and a brutal kick drum.
T.Raumschmiere and Voigt & Voigt deliver stripped-back, functional techno built for the floor. Minimal in approach but maximum in impact, these tracks cut through without pretence. The humour in the titles doesn't soften the punch; if anything, it sharpens the contrast between the playful packaging and the serious business of the production.
Released on Kompakt's Extra imprint in 2020, Speicher 111 sits comfortably within the label's lineage of no-nonsense techno that respects the dancefloor intelligence of its audience. 45 RPM pressing on 12 inch vinyl.
