About this record
Latest release by Kompakt co-founder Michael Mayer. Driving, sharp techno from Kölle that cuts straight to the point - no filler, just propulsive rhythms and the kind of precision engineering you'd expect from someone who helped define the sound of contemporary German techno.
Mayer's been central to Kompakt's vision since the label's inception, and Speicher 137 finds him operating in that familiar space where economy of means meets maximum impact. This is techno built for the floor but constructed with the detail work of someone who understands every element's purpose.
Four tracks of exactly what you need and nothing more.
