About this record

This is a new interpretation of Belgium New Beat. Serious grooves, electrifying synth work and captivating basslines that will keep you entranced from start to finish.

Prince de Takicardie returns with Force Bleu EP (Part II), a continuation that deepens the acid house language established in the original. The project harks back to the febrile energy of '80s Belgian New Beat - that frenzied synthesis of EBM, house and industrial rhythm - but filtered through a distinctly contemporary acid lens. The results are propulsive and hypnotic, tracks built on the tension between mechanical precision and organic groove.

Prince's Castle Records has established itself as a careful steward of this particular sound world. Part II proves why: there's genuine craft in the arrangement, a refusal to let the formula go stale, and a commitment to the dancefloor that never feels cynical. Essential for those chasing the uncanny sweet spot where cold-blooded synth work meets genuine human groove.
