Todd Terry

Four highly affective and characteristic house cuts from NYC's Master Tee, including an Orlando Voorn remix stomper that hits different. This is Todd Terry operating in his element - stripping things back to pure groove and acid intensity, the kind of record that reminds you why his name still carries weight in house music.

Terry's touch remains unmistakable across these tracks: crisp, rolling drums, synth lines that catch in your chest, and the sort of club-tested arrangement sense that only comes from decades behind the decks. Voorn's remix recontextualises the material with his own hypnotic, relentless approach - a meeting of New York and Rotterdam sensibilities that feels earned rather than forced.

Freeze Records continues its knack for bringing together foundational figures and keeping the conversation moving forward. Essential for anyone who understands that house music's depth lies in its restraint.
