Luigi Di Venere

Five tracks of progressive house intelligence from Luigi Di Venere on his own Berlin imprint, Philoxenia. This is a limited run of 100 copies, so treat it accordingly. The standout here is Cromby's remix of 'Got Momentum', a peak-time weapon that arrives exactly when you need it to land. Di Venere's own productions across the EP sit somewhere between measured technicality and genuine melodic weight, building the kind of tension that works equally well in a packed room or on repeat at home.

Di Venere has been quietly building Philoxenia as a space for thoughtful, uncompromising house music. This seventh release maintains that trajectory. Spherical Waves moves through progressive and tech-house territory with acid touches that breathe rather than overwhelm. It's the kind of record that rewards sustained attention, especially when you're after material with actual depth beneath the dancefloor appeal.
