Soulful, sharp, tight and with depth. Steve Rachmad just knows how to do it. Especially under his Parallel 9 alias. Highly sought-after classic on Belgium's Music Man records, originally from 2005. Second repress, now remastered.

About this record
Repress alert. This is the Steve Rachmad classic that vanished from shelves - originally 2005 on Music Man, Belgium. Second repress now, freshly remastered. Vestras is the standout track here, the one that made this record essential in the first place.
Rachmad's work under the Parallel 9 moniker sits at that perfect intersection of Detroit techno rigour and European sophistication. Dominus doesn't announce itself loudly - it works deeper than that, with the kind of stripped-back percussion and hypnotic synth architecture that rewards repeated listening. Music Man Records has always championed this exact sensibility, and this remaster brings clarity to production that was already ahead of its time.
If you missed it the first time, or if your original copy is looking tired, this is the moment.
