About this record
Lovers of early-trance music, this 12" really hits the spot for something modern but with vintage values. Beautiful early 90s inspired electronic music that feels both contemporary and rooted in the foundations of the genre.
Mutant Volt crafts four tracks that sit comfortably in the space where techno, bleep, and progressive house converge - think crisp, intelligent production with the kind of melodic sensibility that defined the best of early electronic music. There's no nostalgia trap here; instead, these are compositions that understand what made that era vital and apply those principles with a 2026 clarity.
Haŵs continues its run of considered, purposeful releases with HAWS032. If you're after music that respects history without being imprisoned by it, Bona Vista delivers.
