About this record
Outstanding quite unknown release with dub techno finesse. Every detail just sits right. This is the kind of record that rewards close listening - Motormännen's approach to the form feels assured and considered, with production that doesn't overcomplicate things.
Informationstechno is a limited edition LP that sits comfortably in the deeper end of the dub techno spectrum. Lamour Records' catalogue entry lamour053vin represents the label's consistent taste for thoughtful, understated work that prioritises texture and space over obvious hooks. Motormännen understand that restraint is an asset.
If you're already familiar with contemporary dub techno and looking for something that actually repays the investment - both your time and money - this is a solid addition to the collection. Limited pressing, and rightly so.
