About this record
Rotterdam producer Mata Disk returns to Nous'klaer Audio with four minimal after-house cuts - afters material through and through. These are the tracks that work best when the main room has emptied out, when the crowd has thinned to those who came for the music, not the moment. Sparse, hypnotic, economical in every sense.
Disk's approach here is pure reduction: stripped-back drums, deep space between elements, and a patience that rewards close listening. On Nous'klaer Audio - a label that understands the value of restraint - this EP sits naturally alongside their broader minimal house catalogue. Four sides that move without rushing, designed for the hours when less becomes everything.
