Tomiie's original Thursday, 2am already had depth - that restless, introspective energy that defined late-night deep house. Trent's remixes strip things back further, mining the track for its skeletal essence. The 7AM Dub in particular is the one collectors have been hunting: minimal, hypnotic, built on a foundation of space and intent rather than noise.
Abstract Architecture has always been Tomiie's vehicle for exploratory releases, and this reissue captures a moment when the Deep House sound was refining itself - less about maximalism, more about the interplay between silence and carefully placed elements.
