RiskSoundSystem

Repress alert. Long out-of-print Kerri Chandler remixes of this sought-after 2008 Benelux deep house cut, finally back on Souvenirs. This is the material that circulated hard in underground rooms across Europe - the kind of edit that defined a sound and a moment.

RiskSoundSystem's original sits firmly in that deep, hypnotic continental tradition, but Chandler's touch elevates it into something else entirely. His approach to remix work has always favoured restraint and precision, building from stripped-back elements into something that rewards patient listening. On the decks, these versions breathe differently than the source material, offering DJs genuine movement and texture without sacrificing the meditative quality that made the original essential.

Souvenirs has handled the reissue with care. 12-inch at 45 RPM, pressed to do justice to the low end and the subtleties Chandler embedded in the arrangements. If you missed this first time around, or if your original copy is worn through, this is the moment to secure it properly.
