Kirill Matveev

Journey through spacey, dubby and deep techno moods, guided by Kirill Matveev. This Vuo Records release strips back the maximalism of contemporary techno to reveal something more introspective - stripped-down productions where space and silence matter as much as the frequencies that fill them.

Matveev constructs tracks that breathe, each element placed with deliberation rather than density. The dubby undercurrents drift through carefully detuned synths and resonant bass movements, while the deeper techno elements anchor the compositions in hypnotic, almost meditative rhythms. There's a restraint here that feels increasingly rare, a refusal to overwhelm.

Vuo Records continues its line of questioning around minimal, introspective electronic music. This is the kind of record that reveals itself over repeated listens - patient, considered, and ultimately rewarding.
