Juri Heidemann

Already sold out elsewhere. Juri Heidemann's first vinyl on Cologne's Instinkt Lab - the underground imprint run by friends for friends.

Heidemann is a steady presence in the deeper end of the German techno underground, and this EP shows why. Four tracks of propulsive, stripped-back deep techno that move with purpose rather than flash. The kind of record that works equally well in the dub booth or on the dancefloor at 4am, when the conversation between track and crowd matters more than spectacle.

Instinkt Lab has quietly built a reputation for releasing records that matter to the people making them. No hype, no algorithm - just good vinyl from artists embedded in the Cologne scene. This one's worth tracking down.
