About this record
Stuff for the doofs from Down Under. Gnarly, sharp and psy-infused prog-tech that cuts clean and hits hard. OK EG strips back the excess and builds forward momentum from pure structure - the kind of record that rewards repeated listening on a proper system.
GEKO01 is prog-tech DNA filtered through a trance sensibility. These tracks breathe but they don't drift; there's a precision to the build and collapse, psilocybin shimmer wrapped around crystalline percussion and hypnotic bass architecture. At 45 RPM across a 12" this plays deep and detailed - every layer sits where it's meant to.
First release on GEKO. For heads who understand that the most forward-thinking dance music is often the most minimal.
