About this record
Fresh 2026 tech house collaboration between Delorean and 8 Sound Dome, landing on Lirica Archives' Proper Grub sub-label. GRUB004 continues the imprint's run of stripped-back, percussion-led house that rewards careful listening on proper equipment.
Delorean's approach here sits in that grey area between tech house precision and progressive sensibility - locked grooves that breathe, built for both the early-morning club hour and the seasoned home listener. 8 Sound Dome's involvement pushes things further into exploratory territory, layers of texture and spatial detail that reveal themselves across multiple plays.
Proper Grub has carved out a distinct identity within Lirica Archives' broader ecosystem, focusing on material that feels current without chasing trends. This EP fits that brief exactly - contemporary production, timeless structure.
