About this record
Four dubby, minimal, techy progressive floor heaters that tap into the early 2000s golden era of tech house. Asphalt DJ channels that period's stripped-back approach - heavy on atmosphere, light on excess - with the kind of production clarity and subtlety that rewards both dancefloor commitment and deep listening.
Oddysee continue to dig for the right balance between accessibility and uncompromising sound design. This EP sits firmly in that sweet spot: tracks built for progression and tension, not quick peaks. Each cut develops slowly, textural shifts becoming the narrative. Dubby reverbs, synth work that suggests rather than announces, drums that sit deep in the mix.
Modern sensibility applied to a timeless template. The kind of house music that sounds as natural on vinyl as it does in the club.
