Baka G’s career in house music started with an eight year stint studying classical music and violin at Lausanne’s Conservatory, an influential Swiss music school located in Romandy, the French-speaking western part of Switzerland. She then decided to explore new musical directions, taught herself guitar and became influenced and drew inspiration from the House music parties of Brussels.
In the years since, Baka G has quickly established herself as a rising force in the house music scene.
The French-Swiss blends her rich musical background with an infectious energy that defines her sound. Her style seamlessly fuses disco, Latino, tribal, soulful, and old-school garage house, creating an irresistible house groove for the dance floor.
Baka G’s career reached a new milestone with the release of her acclaimed EP Weekend on Happiness Therapy, solidifying her position as a prominent name in the house music world.
Building on that success, she’s gearing up to release her next EP on Marc Cotterell’s esteemed Plastik People label, marking another exciting chapter in her journey.
Following a successful European tour with the Happiness Therapy crew, Baka G made 2025 her biggest year yet, bringing her unique and joyful blend of house music to dance floors worldwide.
