A lovely bit of news to share: Baka G’s brand new EP No Breaks All Fun has landed in FAZE Magazine’s Albums of the Month feature — and it’s been given a perfect 10 out of 10 by reviewer Carsten Becker. We couldn’t be more pleased for Baka G and everyone who worked on the release.

The review picks out the title track first, comparing its sound to early 90s Strictly Rhythm — pianos riding a house beat, whispered vocals adding warmth and intimacy, and a groove built to move dancers across the floor.
The remixes get plenty of love too: Retromigration brings claps, singing chords and tribal undertones. Zombies In Miami — in the reviewer’s words — steal the show with swinging syncopation, soulful pads, lovely percussion work and a cosmic feel. “Deep house can hardly sound any better,” he writes.
Andre Zimmer hands the track over to its bassline for a wider, hypnotic take.
And on the second original, “Clavel,” Baka G picks up the pace to 132 bpm with a rolling bassline and a back and forth between male and female vocals that brings real emotion to the piano lines.
The verdict from FAZE: “A stirring EP, made with heart and feeling for the dancefloor. Love it!”
We agree.
