SEVEN releases their first VA introducing seven new names to the label.

This VA kicks off with Sol Ortega’s “Dabz,” a fast-paced house and techno hybrid drawing inspiration from Chicago and Detroit. Packed with dub-style synths, rolling basslines, and punchy percussion, it’s a modern floor-filler with a classic soul.

Posture follows with “4 r Luv,” a melodic house cut blending uplifting vocals, sharp garage-ready drums, and grimey bass stabs, capturing the timeless spirit of UK dance music.

Next up, DD Boys - Bailey Ibbs and Fergus Sweetland - strip things back with “Cannot Stop,” a raw ghetto house groove led by crunchy drums and a bassline that snakes across the full spectrum.

Retromigation then shifts gears with “Cariati Feels,” balancing warm organ chords, funky rhythms, and rugged vocals to deliver an irresistible tech house groove. On the flip, Baka G keeps the energy high with “The Blue Spirit,” a playful house slapper where pads, stabs, and congas dance together in a joyful push-and-pull.

Oliver Benji, aka CucaRafa, gets inventive with “Voice Mail,” transforming the iconic beep into a quirky rhythmic hook set against broken-beat patterns and heavy low-end.

Closing out the VA, Ackermann’s “Make You Wanna Do Right” lands in the sweet spot between house and techno. With its syncopated drums, call-and-response melodies, and funky piano-and-vocal interplay, it’s a high-energy finale that ties the record together with style.
