About this record
Classic minimal and tech house sound from the 2010s with especially great remixes from tINI and Gel Abril. This is the kind of record that defined a particular moment - stripped-back, functional, but with real character underneath.
Yaya's original tracks sit comfortably in that sweet spot between minimal house and techno where the focus is on groove and texture rather than flash. Etruria Beat has always been about that aesthetic, and Never Alone fits perfectly into their catalogue of understated house music. The remix treatments elevate the package further, with tINI and Gel Abril each bringing their own sensibilities to the material.
If you're after that early 2010s sound - the one before everything got louder and more obvious - this is solid wax.
