About this record
Long-awaited repress of an Oyster Cult classic. Edward brings a minimal, techy yet proggy approach across Deep Sea Villain - the kind of record that rewards patient listening and repeated spins. Built for crate diggers who understand that restraint and detail can hit just as hard as bombast.
Edward's production here sits in that sweet spot between stripped-back minimal house and progressive techno, with enough melodic intrigue to keep the journey moving. Kalahari Oyster Cult's catalogue speaks for itself as a label committed to house and techno that thinks rather than just pounds. This repress does right by the original - essential material that's been missing from circulation.
