About this record
Big compilation by Ostgut Ton with Berghain regulars Ben Klock, Ryan Elliott and Len Faki. This is the kind of release that matters - a snapshot of where Berlin's most serious technicians were at in 2016, recorded for the label that's defined the city's sound for two decades.
Zehn / Neun assembles work from the core Ostgut crew, artists who've shaped the Berghain floor and the wider European underground for years. Expect the label's signature blend of stripped-back, precision-tooled techno alongside deeper, more textural material. These aren't novelty cuts; they're working tools and artistic statements from people who understand their craft.
A document of Berlin techno at a specific moment, captured by a label with the credibility to make such statements stick.
