Sixth release in Fides' 10-year anniversary vinyl series. Detroit-rooted techno, dub, and jazz textures across five tracks. A proper Berlin underground label, doing their thing.

X6 brings together a crew of producers working in the overlap between machine precision and organic improvisation. These are tracks built on deep knowledge of Detroit's lineage - the spatial thinking, the low-end weight, the refusal to separate techno from its roots in soul and experimentation. Dub space sits naturally alongside driving 4/4, and jazz voicings emerge from the synthesis rather than sitting on top.

Fides continues its steady course through the underground with releases that prioritize sonic substance over fashion. Ten years in, they're still building records for people who understand that a good techno EP is about durability, detail, and how a track breathes across four and a half minutes.
