About this record

Academeia's debut compilation arrives as a serious statement from Copenhagen's newest imprint. Twenty-two tracks across a double LP, gathering Anthony Linell, Space Drum Meditation, Martinez and more - a generous introduction that threads techno, ambient, abstract and tribal sounds into something genuinely cohesive rather than scattered.

What makes Transparent World compelling is its restraint. There's no obvious curatorial gimmick, no forced conceptual throughline. Instead, Academeia has curated a collection of producers who share a certain depth of purpose - whether that's rhythmic hypnosis, textural drift, or the kind of tribal impulse that actually means something rather than appropriating aesthetics. The compilation suggests a label uninterested in trend-chasing, more invested in the kind of underground thinking that takes time to reveal itself.

A proper debut that justifies the double LP format. Worth spinning front to back.
