Vakula

Vakula's third LP sits at the intersection of ambient techno and Ukrainian folk tradition. Across nine extended pieces, the Kyiv-based producer weaves pulsing electronic undertones with traditional instrumentation and modal scales drawn from Eastern European and Oriental music, creating a meditative yet rhythmically grounded listening experience.

Arma's latest release shows Vakula deepening his exploration of how electronic production can honor rather than flatten cultural lineage. Each track unfolds deliberately, rewarding close attention. This is techno stripped of its club context, relocated to a space where hypnotic repetition and organic texture sit as equals.
