About this record
Old school classic house inspired by Chicago and Detroit's early scene. STAXX 003 strips back to fundamentals - driving four-on-the-floor rhythms, warm analogue synths, and the kind of stripped-down grooves that defined house music in its inception. This is the sound of basement dancefloors and after-hours clubs, unmistakably rooted in the Midwest blueprint but executed with contemporary production clarity.
UNKNOWN ARTIST channels that era's spirit without nostalgia; these tracks breathe with the same economy and purpose that made the original Detroit and Chicago releases timeless. STAXX Records continues its commitment to house music that respects its roots while moving forward.
A solid addition to any deep house collection, and essential listening for those chasing that authentic early-house lineage.
