About this record
Repress of a legendary mid-2010s house classic. Play 'Inspector Norse' when the sun comes up and you will see how powerful this record is.
Todd Terje's It's The Arps EP arrived on Oslo's Smalltown Supersound in 2012 as an instant landmark - the kind of record that redefined what contemporary house could be. Terje strips back to essentials: hypnotic synth arpeggios, crisp drums, and an almost naïve charm that somehow contains absolute precision. This is house music with clear heads and open hands.
The title track and 'Inspector Norse' became the defining tracks of their moment, proof that you don't need complexity to move bodies or minds. A reissue of something genuinely essential.
