Timur Basha

The long-standing artistic director, resident DJ, and co-founder of Closer Kyiv steps up with his first-ever solo EP after 15 years of producing in the shadows. This is a significant moment - Timur Basha finally surfaces with Sluhay & Dyakuy, a measured introduction that rewards the patience of those who've been listening.

Across four tracks, Basha deploys a stripped-back minimal house aesthetic anchored by crisp drums and restrained synth work. There's a clarity here that suggests someone confident enough not to overcomplicate. The production sits between tech house and techno, but the emphasis remains on space and groove rather than spectacle or novelty.

Basic Moves continue their track record of signing artists with genuine weight in their respective scenes. For Kyiv's underground, this release carries real currency - a statement from someone who's shaped taste rather than chased it.
