Thomas Wood

Blending deep house, dub and tech house aesthetics, this record captures an elegant balance between warmth and precision. Thomas Wood's Simple Feelings finds its fullest expression through the Overt Remixes - a collection that respects the original's emotional core whilst pushing it into new spatial territory. Each interpretation sits somewhere in that sweet spot between the hypnotic pulse of deep house and the structural clarity of tech house, with enough dub sensibility to keep things breathing.

This is the kind of record that rewards close listening on a proper system. The production is clean but never sterile; there's space between elements, room for the vinyl's texture to come through. Wood's work on TW Limited suggests an artist thinking carefully about what a remix can be - not just a deconstruction, but a reimagining that honours the source whilst standing on its own.

Essential for the kind of listener who understands that house music's greatest strength lies not in bombast but in restraint - in knowing exactly what to leave out.
