Tanja Quadrakey

Beautiful deep house with an old school sound and modern mixdown. Tanja Quadrakey distils the essence of classic deep house on this EP for Tooman Records, crafting four tracks that breathe with the kind of spacious, unhurried aesthetic that defined the genre at its best.

Quadrakey's approach here is fundamentally restrained - warm pads, minimal percussion, and carefully placed vocal samples create atmosphere without clutter. There's a lineage running through these cuts, a respect for the foundations of deep house that never tips into pastiche. The production is clean and contemporary, giving these tracks the clarity they deserve without stripping away their organic character.

Deep Breath EP lands on Tooman Records as a reminder that the most effective house music doesn't need to announce itself. It works in the room, in your body, in the space between beats. Four tracks worth the time.
