Space Drum Meditation

Four-tracker of percussion-heavy tribal techno that manages the trick of being ritualistic yet made for the dancefloor. Ossifrage is the standout, but the whole record sits deep in that sweet spot between ceremony and movement.

Space Drum Meditation continue their exploration of tribal frameworks and hypnotic drum patterns on their own imprint. These tracks build from textural foundations rather than rushing for impact, letting layers of percussion accumulate into something genuinely transportive. There's a restraint here that feels increasingly rare - no unnecessary fills, no overstating the case.

SDM007 is the kind of release that rewards patient listening but also works when you need something to disappear into. Solid addition to the label's growing catalogue.
