About this record
Repress alert. Shuffle Progression's Fears arrives remastered in 2026, nearly a quarter-century after the original Portuguese cut landed on House Of Ganesh in 2003. This is trance material pitched between reality and the higher spiritual planes - a soundtrack for depth and transcendence rather than immediate gratification.
The duo crafted something genuinely strange in 2003: progressive and technical enough to sustain attention, but soaked in atmosphere and spiritual yearning. Fears sits somewhere between proto-tech house and the more meditative strains of trance from that era. The remaster brings clarity to the original's textural ambitions without sanitizing its character.
Unreleased Tribal Rework on B2 justifies the repress alone. Dream Software's decision to dust this one off signals their commitment to unearthing material that matters beyond the immediate moment.
