About this record
Outstanding, intelligent sci-fi techno with psy tendencies - that's Shoal's Ular EP in a nutshell. There's not much more to say when the record speaks this clearly.
Shoal crafts the kind of deep techno that rewards close listening. These tracks breathe with a trance-informed sensibility, layered with psychedelic textures that push beyond straightforward dancefloor mechanics. It's thoughtful production without pretension, built on the kind of understanding that comes from proper engagement with both the science and the soul of electronic music.
Space Lab continues its trajectory with SL017, delivering exactly the kind of uncompromising material that matters on vinyl. This is techno for people who listen.
