Second release on SlapFunk's vinyl-only sublabel, and this is exactly the kind of no-nonsense weapon you want from a fresh imprint with serious intent. Samuel Deep Selektz #1 pulls together a carefully curated selection of house cuts that reward repeated listening - tracks built for proper sound systems and dancefloors that understand depth over hype.

SlapCutz Records has positioned itself as a reissue and release operation stripped of filler, and that discipline shows here. The compilation moves through contemporary house with the kind of editorial restraint that's become rare; each track earns its place. Limited pressing, vinyl only, designed for people who still believe the format matters.

If you've been waiting for SlapFunk to properly launch its subsidiary with substance rather than novelty, this is it.
