Rosati

First release on Rosati's own Global Pulse imprint, and it's a proper one. Great techno with solid 90s bones - you can hear the Detroit and Berlin DNA running through it - but mixed down with modern production finesse. Nothing overcooked, nothing trying too hard. Just well-crafted, functional techno that sits right in the pocket.

Rosati knows his way around a drum machine and a filter. These tracks breathe. They've got space in them, which is something you don't always find anymore. The kind of record that works equally well in a late-night set or on headphones at home, which is a harder trick than it sounds.

If you're after techno that respects its lineage without being pastiche, this is it. Solid start to Global Pulse.
