About this record
Legendary rework of 'What Is This Sound?' vocals resampled by Peace Division in 2005. This is the track that defined a moment - raw, hypnotic, built on a vocal loop that just refuses to leave your head. Revivis has crafted something that feels both of its time and timeless, the kind of house record that works equally well at 3am in a basement or on repeat at home.
The Energy Ghosts EP sits comfortably in that lineage of tech house that prioritises groove and texture over flash. Santo Tomas has consistently championed this approach - records that reward close listening, that build rather than announce themselves. This is functional music in the truest sense: designed for the body and the mind in equal measure.
A solid addition to any serious house collection, and essential if you remember the original.
