Porco Rosso

Mojo recommendation - Frankfurt legend Porco Rosso with something for the real diggers. Global Player lands as the debut release on Zuperflex Records, a project that signals serious intent from both artist and imprint.

Rosso operates in the deeper end of tech house, building tracks with the kind of architectural precision that rewards close listening. These are records made for dancers who think, built on stripped-back rhythms and considered sound design rather than obvious hooks. The kind of work that reveals itself across repeated plays.

Zuperflex 001 marks the beginning of what looks like a focused label operation. If you're after contemporary house music that respects the intelligence of the floor, this is exactly the kind of release worth tracking down on wax.
