Inner Lakes

Inner Lakes returns to Earth Dog with his second outing on the New York imprint run by dj fix and jek, and this one pushes things further still. Where the first release caught ears, Muerte Deluxe operates on another level entirely. Shaped by the early prog sound of the old Italian school, Inner Lakes channels that lineage into a four-tracker of genuine selecta heat.

This is trance and prog-infused tech house and techno built for the dancefloor but rooted in proper knowledge. Expect muscular production, hypnotic builds, and the kind of compositional depth that separates the wheat from the chaff in modern techno.

Earth Dog continues to prove itself as a label with taste and vision. This one's essential.
