About this record
Six driving, techy tracks that flex djfix's familiar steeze with swing, deep chattering low-end, and a psychedelic sheen. This is tech house that moves - rhythmically restless but never losing sight of the dancefloor.
djfix has spent years honing a sound that sits comfortably between prog tech and trance, all forward momentum and textural detail. Here on a soft place to land, that approach crystallises into something both hypnotic and grooved, each track a carefully layered journey rather than a statement piece. Earth Dog - the label home for this release - has consistently championed producers who think beyond the obvious, and djfix fits that ethos precisely.
For those who prefer their house and techno with swing and narrative arc rather than four-to-the-floor austerity, this one lands.
