Pedro Goya

Pedro Goya's sound is entirely his own, and Paean EP is proof. Four tracks that sit somewhere between stripped-back house and something more architectural - tech-minded but never clinical, rhythmic but never obvious.

Goya's approach here is one of restraint and precision. Where others might reach for synth stabs and breakdowns, he builds with texture and negative space. The drums lock in tight, the processing subtle but effective. It's the kind of record that rewards repeated listening on a proper system - details emerge, patterns shift, the tracks develop personalities beyond their initial presentation.

Carpet & Snares continues its run of thoughtful house releases with this one. A solid, intelligent EP from an artist working very much on his own terms.
