Paul Kalkbrenner

Pure nostalgia. This Berlin anthem finally got a well-deserved remix. Sky and Sand has long been a staple of late-night dancefloors across the city, and this outing on BPitch Control gives the track fresh legs without losing the essence that made it essential in the first place.

Paul Kalkbrenner's approach to tech house has always favored clarity over clutter - stripped-back arrangements that let individual elements breathe. This remix maintains that philosophy while introducing enough variation to justify its existence on vinyl. It's the kind of record that works equally well in a DJ booth or on your turntable at home, a rare quality that speaks to the track's underlying strength.

Single-sided 12 inch at 45 RPM, released February 2009. BPitch Control remain one of the most consistently thoughtful imprints operating out of Berlin.
